Writing has always been my passion and playing with words, an absolute pleasure! Throughout my career I've been involved in some amazing, exciting projects in the UK, the USA and now here in Dubai.

These are a few of the numerous publications and companies I have worked with:

I'm currently working with the world’s largest leisure car rental broker, writing engaging press releases and both trade and consumer focussed newsletters for the Middle East. They're a great team, offering car rental in over 4,000 locations world-wide and operating out of 40 countries. It's just a shame I don't drive.

For the online version of the UAE's biggest selling women's glossy, I've written tons of exciting stuff! How about this exclusive Celine Dion feature, the first Dubai review of the newest glitzy Ritz spa in Qatar, or a delve into the world of astrology as we ask how much we're influenced by the elements when choosing our holiday destinations! Of course, general girly banter, observational movie chat and exclusive local restaurant reviews are a tasty diversion from updates on Britney Spears.

As deputy editor on a series of destination guide books, I spent many an hour delving into Dubai's hidden depths, banishing bad grammar from Shanghai and soaking up New Zealand's culture through my computer screen. A fully educational experience (and some rather pretty books).

Ah, the pink palace... those were the good old days! Working for London's number one travel and lifestyle website I was responsible for informing over two-million regular web-savvy subscribers of the numerous beauties awaiting them, in the big smoke and beyond. From restaurant raves, to boy-band reunions, to travel features, to video interviews with West End puppet stars, there was never a dull moment at lastminute.com.

Lords, loincloths and a coat of many colours - my chat with Lee Mead, star of West End show 'Joseph and the amazing technicoloured dreamcoat'.

The Wicked Witch of the West End - review of top London show, Wicked Check out some creative e-shots

For two years I hassled/organised a team of freelance writers in the London area, to compile the cutest bite-sized book of bars and restaurants known to man! As city editor I was always up against deadlines, but with three books under my belt (which after all those food reviews needed another notch or two) I think it's safe to say we pulled it together. Take a peep at the online version. PDFs coming soon.

Other stuff I've done:

Caught in the Wireless Web - on an Internet revolution, or not...
